While on lay over at the airport at Minneapolis/St.Paul in January 1999 I visited the Lego Imagination Center at the Mall of the America. If you find yourself with a few hours to spare, there is a city bus that runs about every 15 to 20 minutes. The ride takes about 20 minutes. The Lego store has just about every current set, plus some found only at Lego "Shop-at-Home" mail order service. Inside there are several displays with various themes, and surrounding the store are huge models made out of Lego blocks. I took some pictures of the displays inside, but they didn't turn out very good. Below are some pictures of models outside the store. |
